Michael Saran

Michael Saran, Sport2Life Founder

Mr. Saran is the founder of the Odien investment fund. Prior to founding the Odien Group in 2004, Mr. Saran worked in private investment firms in London, Boston, and Prague. Mr. Saran is also the founder of Sport2Life, a foundation aimed at supporting the education, development and health of children through their participation in organised sports. Mr. Saran graduated from Stanford University with degrees in Economics and International Relations and he received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is fluent in Turkish and German and has a basic knowledge of Czech.

Duje Božiković

Duje Božiković, Chairmen of the Foundation Board

Mr. Božiković joined Odien’s Le Meridien Lav Hotel in April 2017. Prior to joining Lav, Mr. Božiković, a Split native, worked in Boston, USA as a General Manager of two brand new Marriott Hotels which he had managed from their construction to their business development and operation. Mr. Božiković holds a BA Degree from Lindenwood University in Saint Louis, USA that he attended on a sports scholarship. Mr. Božiković is also a project leader of Sport2Life in Croatia, a foundation aimed at supporting the education, development and health of children through participation in organised sports. He is a native Croatian speaker and fluent in English.

boris odak

Boris Odak, Sport2Life Foundation Croatia Director

Mr. Odak joined Le Meridien Lav Hotel at the position of Spa Manager in November 2006 as part of opening team. During his 11 years of employment in the hotel, he managed the spa and recreation departments. Prior to joining the Le Meridien Lav hotel, Boris worked as the manager of Vita Fitness and Spa in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb where he was named the most successful student in 2001. Mr. Odak is a passionate sports enthusiast, and joined the Sport2Life Croatia team in January 2018 as its director and the creator of the foundation’s programmes in Croatia. He is a native Croatian speaker and fluent in English.

Eliska-Hudcova

Eliska Hudcova, Marketing Specialist

Eliska joined Sport2Life in January 2019. She is a member of the Czech team and as a social media specialist and content producer, she mainly takes care of marketing activities. She has a master’s degree from the University of Economics in Prague, with a focus on digital marketing. Eliska has perfected her English studying in the U.S. and she has a basic knowledge of German.

Maruš Novak

Maroš Novák, Sport2Life Foundation Czech Director

Maroš became a member of the Sport2Life family at the beginning of 2019. The idea of Sport2Life attracted him mainly because he has devoted himself to helping children do more sports, which is what Maroš did as a part of several non-profit projects before joining Sport2Life. He is a former representative of the Czech Republic in taekwondo, and he has won the Czech championship multiple times. He is passionate about training children and adults, and he is still active in taekwondo, combining his passion for movement with a healthy lifestyle. He also has experience in marketing activities. He worked as a social media specialist and uses his experience to lead the Sport2Life project in the Czech Republic.

Sova Luboš

Sova Luboš, IT Support

Luboš is an IT manager who joined the Odien Group in April 2008. Prior to Odien and Sport2Life, he participated in several IT projects for private companies and for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. He has experience in IT networks and servers. Mr. Sova holds a master’s degree in Information Technologies from the University of Economics in Prague. He is a native Czech speaker, fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of French.

Bulent Turan

Bulent Turan, Sport2Life Turkey Director

Mr. Turan joined the Odien Group in 2006. He has a degree in Tourism, Hotel Management and Travel Agency Management. He was the financial manager of Ahoy, a subsidiary of Cedok. He is the director of Sport2Life in Turkey, a foundation aimed at supporting the education, development and health of youth through participation in organised sports. Mr. Turan is a native Turkish speaker, is fluent in English, and has a basic knowledge of German.
